Our CEO Mehdi Farza has been leading our sales effort since we launched. Having achieved major milestones with our sales and revenue targets we recently raised a round of funding to scale up our sales force and that is exactly why we wrote this job post.
Because we are methodical about our growth and want to build a team with the right culture and training we are seeking a sales specialist who wants to join a startup and work directly with our CEO to sell SCITODATE. This isn't an ordinary sales job... at least not at first.
The first few months will be focused on booking meetings and learning the sales strategies and how to manage a sales cycles from our CEO. You are a sale apprentice to the CEO and you will be closing deals with the founder of the company who knows the product inside and out. Who better to learn from?
And yes you need to book the meetings that will double as your SCITODATE sales training. If you're a hustler, keep reading.
You will book meetings with prospects, then shadow the sales call and help manage and track the sales cycle with and for Mehdi. The methodology of this training is to get you operating on your own and carrying a quota in less than 6 months.
You will be paid commission as a sales rep on all the deals that Mehdi (and you) closes during your training. This is definitely a startup and you will definitely be jumping on a rocket ship that will pay well and prove to be an excellent learning experience.
What else are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in business or within a science related discipline.
At least 2 years of sales or business development experience, Experience in life science or other academic industry is a plus.
Excellent English (company language). Dutch, German, French or Spanish is a plus.
Fast learner and coachable.
Result driven and Can-do mentality.
